Fight for that Fumble, plus a Complete Good deal More, and PS3 Madden 10

The soundtrack on PS3 Madden 10 is another facet that will get hardcore gamers going. Soundtracks have become synonymous with the games themselves, especially the Madden series. PS3 Madden 10's soundtrack brings the right level of intensity, as well as a great mix of newer and older songs ("older" being a relative term here, of course). One gander at the song lineup should induce and impress: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth.

If all those features and upgrades haven't convinced you that PS3 Madden 10 is a masterpiece, then perhaps a trip through the sports video game timeline will. Yeah, it may be a little much to rave about a current day game at the expense of the earliest football video games. Once you've given the older football video games the once-over, you can grasp why people are drooling over PS3 Madden 10. At the dawn of video game consoles, one of the top requests from every hardcore gamer was a football video game for their system, naturally. The downside was, the gaming technology wasn't quite up to speed yet, so video football fanatics had to settle, in a big way. "All the excitement" of the real thing, the game publishers crowed back then. With an open path to the end zone, this is what the number one console in the day scored a touchdown with.

Those guys on the playing field sure couldn't pass for actual football players. There's no getting around that one You can tell by the image that the game wasn't much, but that's only the half of it. This one, like all early games, suffered from the "blinking graphics" syndrome, due to low programming capacity. There's just no way to try an explain how lousy the sound was. Things were so limited that a scrolling screen was out of the question. Within a couple years, things would pick up slightly, with a competing console developing a football video game. It was yards better than that first one - people looked a bit more like people, the players no longer flickered, and gamers got their scrolling screen. Still needed work, though. The video game world was certainly jazzed when that was released, but it wasn't exactly the gold standard. It would take a few more years for that to happen. This one was a big innovation for football video games, and has fans who still swear by it. This one held the top spot for football video game fans forever. Makes sense that it was so revered by the hardcore gamer - it really was the first true attempt to recreate the NFL. Football video games went to the next level with that one, due to the much needed upgrades. It's even got a presence in the gaming world today, thanks to its online comeback. That being said, PS3 Madden 10 still blows it away. Take a look at it, after taking in all of those older games. As you can see, football video games have evolved exponentially since their first appearance. But there's no purpose in ragging on the early games. You get it. Those games, while archaic, got us to where we are today, and for that, they deserve their place in the video game hall of fame (though that first one may be better off in "video game hall of shame.") Of course, PS3 Madden 10 has really taken the ball and ran with it, which is cause for serious celebration in the video game world. Better yet, the reviewers share the same level of PS3 Madden 10 love as the fans, always a good thing. Reviews for PS3 Madden 10 are filled with praise such as "realistic and enjoyable." EA Sports has sacked all the competition with PS3 Madden 10, to nobody's surprise.

There's no debating it - PS3 Madden 10 is an all-time great sports video game. Hey, each PlayStation sports video game is EPIC in its own way, but for our money, PS3 Madden 10 is the stuff legends are made of. For many, this is the PlayStation football game by which all others are measured. Along with its major popularity, this is also where you get to battle for bucks. PlayStation Madden 10 aficionados now get to face off for big bucks. The victory - and your opponent's cash - will be in your hands, once you know the score in PS3 Madden 10.
